Parliament or Reichstag
The entry inside the Parliament is free, only thing is we need to book for it though their website in advance. You get a free guide too once you enter the parliament. The building has a transparent dome, which sysmbolies that the German parliament and its work is never hidden to its people and is clear like the glass.

It is at a walk able distance from the main station.
Berlin Wall or East side gallery
A part of this wall is preserved till date and it reminds us of the German history. This wall was built to separate East Germany and West Germany. You can see a lot of paintings from various artists from all over the world on this wall.

Get down at Schlesisches Tor , U1 train
This is the place where the cold war took shape. This checkpoint was build to stop people from migrating from East Germany to West Germany. Many people were gunned to death here when they tried to cross the border.
Here there is a museum now, and lots of souvenir shops. There is also a small shop where you can get your passport stamped with DDR stamp

The Victory column is a major tourist attraction in Berlin. It has a status of Victoria the Roman goddess. It is a very tall and shining statue. It is said that it was moved by the Nazi’s from another part of Berlin to this place. You can climb the stairs to get a panoramic view of Berlin. There are about 250 steps.
How to reach Victory column?
Take train U9, get down in station named Hansaplatz
It is near the Spree river. It is a beautiful white palace. I did not spend much time here, just saw it from outside and took pictures. But its worth going there if you are visiting the victory column.
How to reach Schloss Bellevue?
It is near by the victory column, take bus no. 100 or 187 and get down at Schloss Bellevue stop.
